15/04/2008Telstar Celester completes its range of distillers.

Four years have passed since Telstar Celester began working with systems for generating water for injectables, and it has already manufactured 30 units.

Most of these are multiple-effect distillers, with production capacities between 1000 and 3000 l/h and 4 or 5 columns. The outcome of this experiment could not have been better. Most of the facilities have been completely tested and qualified in the plant, yielding the expected results in terms of production capacity, consumption and water quality. The simple design and the robustness of the material used were the main arguments put forward to gain the trust of our customers, who have witnessed the quality and effectiveness of the system, its trouble-free operation and ease of maintenance. We recently shipped two CS 7-12000 units, the standard model with the largest production capacity in our range. This model operates at 12,000 l/h with no refrigeration water supply, since its seven columns fully maximise its heating energy so that no refrigeration water intake is required in the final condensation stage. With such high production volumes, this allows considerable cost reductions.
